Menus

A menu is a collection of sections and items shown on one or more TVs.

Create a menu

From /menus, click "New menu". You'll be asked to pick a starting template (Classic, Compact, or Bold). Templates are starting points — every section, item, and style can be overridden later.

Add items and sections

Sections group related items (e.g. "Appetizers", "Pizzas", "Drafts"). Inside a section, each item has a name, an optional description, a price, and an availability flag.

86 an item from your phone

Tap "Hide for…" on any item and pick a duration:

  • 1 hour — common for "we just ran out of salmon"
  • 4 hours — until the rest of the dinner rush
  • End of day — clears at midnight local time
  • Tomorrow AM — clears at next-day open
  • Indefinitely — until you toggle it back on

The item disappears from the assigned TVs within seconds.

Switch templates

The "Template" button in the menu editor swaps the visual style without losing your items. Your overrides (custom colors, fonts, item ordering) carry forward where they apply.

Publish to a TV

A menu only goes live when assigned to a Device. From /sites pick the TV, then choose the menu in the "Currently playing" dropdown.
