A screen went black

  1. Check /reliability in the dashboard. If the device shows red, the TV isn't reaching our servers — usually a network issue or the TV is asleep.
  2. Wake the TV (HDMI source change, remote button) and wait 30 seconds.
  3. If still black, force-quit and reopen the TVMenus app on the TV.
  4. Last resort: unplug power for 30 seconds and plug back in.

A menu update didn't show up

  1. Confirm the menu is assigned to the TV (the "Currently playing" dropdown under /sites).
  2. Wait 30 seconds — the TV polls for new manifests on an interval.
  3. If still stale, the device's status badge in the editor will tell you when the last successful sync was.

I can't log in

  • Reset your password — a reset link goes to your registered email. Links expire after one hour.
  • Magic-link sign-in — enter your email and we'll send a one-tap sign-in link instead.
  • If you don't get the email within five minutes, check spam. Still nothing? Contact us.

The dashboard says "This page couldn't load"

Refresh once. It's almost always a transient client-side fetch race on cold mount. If it persists across multiple refreshes, let us know with the URL and any browser-console errors.
